Trade turnover between Afghanistan and Iran reached $2.48 billion in 11 months

Beijing. March 20. Silkroadnews - According to the latest report, 5.32 million tons of non-oil commodities worth $2.48 billion were traded in Afghanistan and Iran over the past 11 months, the Afghan Telegraph Agency (AfTAG) reports.
The customs authorities, for the period till February 19, Iran imported from Afghanistan 22,673 tons of goods worth $18.71 million, and exported 5.3 million tons of goods worth $2.46 billion to Afghanistan.
Exports from Afghanistan, the seventh largest exporter for Iran, fell 7.84%. Afghanistan’s exports made up 0.07 percent of Iran’s total imports.
