Trade turnover between Afghanistan and Iran reached $ 5 billion

Almaty. August 13. Silkroadnews - Afghan ambassador to Iran Nasir Ahmad Nour said that the volume of trade between Afghanistan and Iran reached $5 billion a year, according to Afghan News Agency (AfTAG).
N. Nur said that the cost of trade between the two countries shows a 10-fold increase over the last five years.
N.Nur welcomed further investment from neighboring countries to Afghanistan and declared that the gates to the economy and the markets are open to everybody.
It is noted that the Iranian ambassador to Afghanistan Mohammad Reza Bahrami met with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Afghanistan, Zarar Ahmad Osmani last week to discuss the level of cooperation between Kabul and Tehran.
Both sides called for further expansion of ties between Kabul and Tehran, and expressed great potential for expansion of cooperation.
