Almaty. February 17. Silkroadnews - In 2014, the trade turnover between Uzbekistan and China reached nearly $5 billion, reports the Telegraph Agency of Uzbekistan (UzTAG).
"Over the past ten years, bilateral trade has grown more than six times. Successfully implemented a number of strategic projects such as the PPE "Jizzakh" and its branch in the Syrdarya region, the factory for the production of rubber products in Angren pipeline "Uzbekistan-China", project to build a railway tunnel "Angren-Pap" and others", - said in the the press service of the Chinese Embassy in Uzbekistan.
China is the largest investor and the second largest trade partner of Uzbekistan.
