Transit Center “Manas” donated USD 351 000 of equipment to medical institutions

Bishkek. March 17. Silkroadnews – Transit Center “Manas” donated USD 351 000 worth of equipment to various medical institutions in Kyrgyzstan, as the Ministry of Healthcare reports.

“The ceremony, that signified the donation of anesthesia and respiratory devices as well as of negative pressure ventilators (pacemakers) to medical institutions, was held at the National Hospital. The Transit Center at the International Airport “Manas” donated 7 sets of medical equipment worth USD 351 000 to the Ministry of Healthcare in Kyrgyzstan”, the report states.

It is worth mentioning that this equipment is to be divided among 7 hospitals, which provide emergency medical care in Bishkek and Chu region. Those include the National Hospital, the National Surgical Center, Chu Regional Medical Complex, Sokuluk District Hospital, Bishkek Children’s Emergency Hospital, Delivery Yard #2 and Bishkek perinatal center.
