Trump plans a visit to China to discuss trade issues
Almaty. September 13. Silkroadnews – Trump is planning a visit to China to discuss trade issues, New York Post reported.
“President Trump reportedly is planning to travel to China in November to discuss a new trade relationship with President Xi Jinping,” the publication reads.
It is noted that the former chief strategist of the White House Steven Bannon told D. Trump intends to avoid a trade war with China.
“There’s too much at stake to slip into a trade war right off the bat. I think it has to be engagement [between] the United States and China. I think the November meeting with the president is going to really be that, and I think good things will come out of it”, he is quoted saying.
Bannon, who left the administration last month, said that, in his opinion, the United States would manage to prevent a trade war.
In turn, the White House press secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders said that the administration of D. Trump is “finalizing details and will have an announcement on November trip soon”.
