Turkmenistan has suspended visa-free regime in connection with a visi of Berdimuhamedov to the border areas

Almaty. September 9. SIlkroadnews - Turkmenistan has suspended visa-free regime until 12 September in connection with the visit of Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov to the border regions, reported the press service of the department of public revenues of the Mangistau region.
As it is known, Kazakhstanis, permanently residing in the Mangistau region, may enter, leave and stay without a visa in the territory of the Balkan province of Turkmenistan for up to 5 days inclusive.
Citizens of Kazakhstan, who are subject to a simplified procedure, may enter the territory of Turkmenistan and go with the territory through the checkpoints defined for international traffic.
