Turkmenistan will set on the border with Afghanistan electronic control system

Almaty. August 14. Silkroadnews - Turkmenistan announces tender for the development of an electronic system of border control at the border with Afghanistan, according to Afghan News Agency (AfTAG).
Project monitoring the border between Turkmenistan and Afghanistan in its entirety, involves the use of satellite imagery, ground and air radar tracking stations. The tender will be attended by the European consortium Airbus, and the French company Thales», - says the agency on Thursday.
The common length of the border is 744 km.
