Almaty. June 9. KazTAG - Kyrgyz entrepreneurs are duped by promises of the government on the free movement of goods after the accession of Kyrgyzstan to the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEC), said the chairman of the union of the market "Dordoi" Damira Dolotalieva.
"The current Prime Minister Temir Sariyev, as a former Minister of Economy, told businessmen to stock items, score warehouses and purchase goods at low rates until 8 May, before Kyrgyzstan joined the EAEC. 8 of May has already came, but the customs control is not canceled, the border is still closed", - said D. Dolotalieva at a press conference.
She noted that there are still old rules to export to Kazakhstan only 50 kg of cargo. This does not allow entrepreneurs of "Dordoi" to export to Kazakhstan goods.
In addition, stopped the flow of buyers from Kazakhstan. Businessmen from the neighboring country ceased to come to the "Dordoi" due to the introduction of ecological taxes by the government on the border - 1 thousand som for passenger cars and 2.5 thousand som - for vans.
"Kazakhstani taxi drivers have stopped coming altogether because of these charges. Now parking of kazakh taxi drivers at "Dordoi" is empty. Because of all these, the turnover on the "Dordoi" fell by 80%, the market is empty. Our situation is very bad, we are very angry with the government",- said D. Dolotalieva.
In this respect, entrepreneurs ask the government to cancel the decision on the ecological charges.
