Two Kazakhstani citizens got injured in the explosion in Kabul

Astana. May 31. KazTAG – Two Kazakhstani citizens got injured in the explosion in Kabul, KazTAG reported.
“2 citizens of Kazakhstan got injured in result of today’s blast in the central part of Kabul. At the moment of explosion they stood at the hotel 500 meters away from the site of the explosion. One of them, born in 1982, got a head wound with a fragments of glass blown off cause of explosion, another person, 1991, got leg injury”, A. Zhanakov, head of the press service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Kazakhstan, wrote on his Facebook page on Wednesday.
It is reported both citizens of Kazakhstan got the medical treatment, they are safe and Kazakhstani diplomats communicate to them to provide all the necessary assistance.
“Building of the Kazakhstani embassy in Kabul, located 1.5-2 km away from the explosion, was damaged. Kazakhstani diplomats continue to check if there are any other citizens of Kazakhstan injured. The city is closed”, A. Zainakov added.
According to the reports by the Russian media, today at about 8.30 a.m. local time, a car exploded near the foreign embassies and the presidential palace in central Kabul. The latest information said, 90 people left dead, more than 380 people wounded. The central square of the city is cordoned off by the police.
No group has claimed responsibility for the explosion so far.
