U.S. Defense Secretary to hold talks with Chinese leaders

Beijing. June 26. Silkroadnews - U.S. Secretary of Defense James Mattis will visit China from June 26 to 28, China Daily wrote referring to source in China’s Ministry of Defense.
During the visit, Mattis will meet with the Chinese state and military leaders to share and exchange the views on the issues of common interest.
The development of healthy and stable relations between China and the United States militaries complies with both states’ mutual interests. It is also a universal expectation shared by the international community, the report reads.
China attaches great importance to the development of military relations with the United States and hopes the U.S. can work with China.
