U.S. Secretary of State and the head of Afghanistan discussed the political and economic reforms
Almaty. August 19. Silkroadnews – U.S. Secretary of State John Kerry had a telephone conversation with the President of Afghanistan Mohammad Ashraf Ghani and CEO Abdullah Abdullah to discuss the issues of reforms in Afghanistan, Afghan news agency (AfTAG) reports.
The Secretary of State noted the importance of political and economic reforms facilitation, having stressed that these transformations shall be crucial for development of Afghanistan as a stable and independent state.
It was reported earlier about discrepancies the Afghan President and the prime minister run into last week. A. Abdullah criticized the policy by A. Ghani who, in his turn, brought counter accusations.
