UAE Ambassador to Afghanistan has died of wounds sustained in January

Almaty. February 16. Silkroadnews – UAE Ambassador to Afghanistan has died of wounds sustained in a terrorist attack in January, AfTAG writes.

“The United Arab Emirates reported the death of Juma Mohammed Abdullah al-Kaabi, the UAE Ambassador to Afghanistan”, the statement said.

AfTAG previously reported, in January of this year the ambassador attended a meeting with representatives of the authorities and entrepreneurs of southern province Kandahar. As a result of blast in a government hotel 13 people left killed, among them five citizens of the UAE.

Both states hold the days of national mourning. Also the memorial to eternize the memory for the foreign diplomats killed was established at the territory of the Afghan Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Kandahar.
