UAE Red Crescent to hold a dinner for 400 Afghan hungry people to celebrate Ramadan

Beijing. June 11. Silkroadnews - The Office of the Red Crescent of the United Arab Emirates will hold Ramadan charity dinner for 400 fasting people in the province of Kabul, the Afghan Telegraph Agency (AfTAG) reports.
According to the directives of a number of UAE leaders, the UAE Red Crescent will hold Ramadan banquet for 400 fasting people at the Mosque of Late Sheikh Ahmed Bin Zayed Al Nahyan in the province of Kabul.
HE Saif Majed Al Shamsi, Chargé d’Affaires of the UAE Embassy in Kabul, said that the efforts of the UAE charities in Afghanistan, including the UAE Red Crescent Authority, are alleviating the suffering of those in need during Ramadan. He stressed that the year of Zayed is completely different from all years, because it carries the name of a pioneer in the field of humanity, generosity and quality and keen to meet and provide the needs of Afghan families, the report reads.
To remind, the year 2018 was declared the Year of Zayed to mark 100 years since the birth of the first President of the United Arab Emirates Sheikh Zayed Bin Sultan Al Nahyan, following the initiative of the second President of the United Arab Emirates, his son, Sheikh Khalifa Bin Zayed Al Nahyan.
