Ukraine increased import Kazakh gas by 16% in the first half and got more than 2/3 of the total export gas of RK

Astana. July 29. Silkroadnews - Kazakhstan increased export of natural gas to Ukraine in January-June 2014 to 3 970. mln cubic meters for $652.6 million, Which is 16% more in quantity and 3.8% less in the amount, comparing the same period in 2013.
As noted in the published data of Customs Control Committee of the Ministry of Finance, excluding the Customs Union, Kazakhstan reduced the export of natural gas in January-June 2014 to 5 718.2 mln cubic meters for $828.6 million, which is 6.3% less in quantity and 14.9% less in amount than in the same period in 2013.
Kazakh gas buyers were: Ukraine, Switzerland, Poland, China, Kyrgyzstan.
Thus, the average price of exported gas for 1 thousand cubic meters amounts to $144.9.
