Ukraine increased imports of Kazakhstani coal by 7.9% for 11 months of 2015

Almaty. January 6. Silkroadnews – In January-November 2015 Kazakhstani exports of coal, briquettes and coal pellets to Ukraine made 680.7 thousands tons worth 60.4 mln USD, which shows a 7.9% increase in volume and 3.3% increase in value versus the same period of 2014, the State Revenue Committee of the Ministry of Finance informed.
As the published data noted, excluding Russia and Belarus, the export of coal from Kazakhstan in January-November amounted to 5 million tons worth 152.8 mln USD, which is 4.6% higher in volume and 11.2% lower in value compared to the same period in 2014.
The largest buyers of Kazakhstani coal during January-November were also Finland - 3 mln tons (+ 14.6%) and 56.8 mln USD (+4.4%), Kyrgyzstan - 636.3 ths tons (-36.5%) to 20.4 mln USD (-44.6%), Japan - 422.9 ths tons (not imported within the same period of 2014) to 8.2 mln USD, UK - 184.6 ths tons (96.3%) to 4.7 mln USD (+47.6%).
