Ukraine plans to start production of tractors in northern Tajikistan

Almaty. September 23. Silkroadnews - Ukraine wish to start in northern Tajikistan production of tractors and other agricultural machinery, reports Tajik Telegraph Agency (TajikTA).
"This was discussed at the meeting of the Sughd region Abdurahmoni Kodiri with Ukrainian Ambassador to the Republic of Tajikistan Victor Nikitiuk located in Sughd on a working visit", - reported in the Sughd region.
As noted, the production is scheduled to open with the help of investment of Dnepropetrovsk enterprise "Pivdenmash".
The sides also discussed regional economic cooperation, and particular attention was paid to the creation of a joint venture in the free economic zone (FEZ) "Sughd" for the production of agricultural machinery and tractors, agricultural exports in the Sughd region, as well as dried fruit imports to Ukraine.
Ukraine's ambassador to Tajikistan has expressed interest in Ukrainian firms cooperation in the field of hydropower, as well as recognized the utility of the organization of the joint venture and the creation of favorable conditions for investment in the FEZ "Sughd".
