UN FAO opens its Uzbek Office

Tashkent. June 9. Silkroadnews – Food and Agricultural Organisation of the UN opens its office in Uzbekistan, as UzTAG reports.
“The agreement on setting up UN FAO Office in Uzbekistan was signed by Uzbek government and the UN FAO the other day”, as Uzbek Ministry of agriculture and water resources informed last Friday.
This agreement was signed within the framework of José Graziano da Silva visit to Uzbekistan. The UN FAO Director-General arrived to Uzbekistan to participate in the conference dedicated to the “main reserves for implementation of food programme in Uzbekistan”.
