UN Security Council to meet on shelling of Israeli territories

Beijing. May 30. Silkroadnews - The UN Security Council will meet because of the shelling of Israeli territories, the Kazakh Telegraph Agency (KazTAG) reports with reference to Kommersant.
The U.N. Security Council will meet on Wednesday to discuss Palestinian rocket strikes on Israel, at the request of the United States which wants the top U.N. body to strongly condemn the attacks. The firings were claimed by Hamas and Islamic Jihad, the media reported on Wednesday.
According to the U.S. Ambassador to the UN Nikki Haley, the missiles fired by Palestinian paramilitary structures stroke the civilian objects, including a kindergarten.
Earlier, Israel reported rocket fire from the Gaza Strip. According to the Israeli military, 25 missiles were fired, most of which have been intercepted by air defense systems.
