UNICEF launches trilingual web page in Uzbekistan

Tashkent. April 29. Silkroadnews – UNICEF office in Uzbekistan has announced the launch of its new trilingual webpage www.unicef.uz. The organisation reports that new website has been optimised in such a way so that even people who are moderately familiar with IT can comfortably navigate through it.
“The main UNICEF objective globally as well as in Uzbekistan is to increase opportunities of children and their families to protect their rights. The tools, information and resources available via our new web page will serve this objectives”, Robert Fuderich, the UNICEF Representative in Uzbekistan says.
As the children’s agency of the UN reports, the new Uzbek-Russian-English website includes overview of UNICEF programs aimed at protection of child rights in Uzbekistan as well as report on the country’s current situation regarding those issues.
The web page contains an online library of UNICEF publications and other digital materials, as well as the list of partner organisation. The families have an opportunity to get introduced in current parenting trends and advice. At the same time, teenagers have an opportunity to learn more about their rights and responsibilities.
