United Kingdom voted to leave the European Union

Almaty. June 24. Silkroadnews – The United Kingdom has voted to leave the European Union (EU), The Daily Telegraph reports.

“Britain has voted to leave the European Union, 51.8% of votes have been given in favor of this decision,” the statement said on Friday.

It is noted that Prime Minister David Cameron, who has addressed the nation with a short speech, now may be forced to resign.

It is reported, it was mostly England that voted to leave the European Union, while Scotland and Northern Ireland supported staying in. London also voted for the EU, but the turnout turned to be low cause of bad weather.
