US air base employee sentenced to 4 years in prison in Kyrgyzstan

Bishkek. June 2. Silkroadnews – US air base employee was sentenced to 4 years in highly secure prison for hooliganism in Kyrgyzstan, as ITAR-TASS reports.
“Brandon Cornelius was sentenced to 4 years in highly secured prison by Sverdlovsk District Court. He was charged with hooliganism. He was an employee of Manas Airport US air force base”, the article says.
This man attempted to rape a local resident this March. He then resisted the arrest when local law enforcement officers arrived at the location. He ripped the epaulettes of one of them. Moreover, the American citizen also broke some furniture at the Police Station, where he was delivered.
Mister Cornelius is originally from California. He arrived to Kyrgyzstan to manage service department at US air force base in Manas Airport 2 years ago. His visa was due to expire this June.
