US handed over to Tajikistan equipment for the anti-drug struggle in the amunt of $1 million

Almaty. August 12. Silkroadnews - US handed over to law enforcement agencies of Tajikistan, involved in the fight against drug trafficking, the equipment worth more than $ 1 million, reports the Tajik news agency (TajikTA) on Wednesday.
This equipment includes devices that will be used to increase the capacity of anti-drug agencies in the fight against illicit drug trafficking in Tajikistan and on its borders.
Head of the program to combat drugs in the US Central Command in the US Embassy Anthony Garbauskas noted that the transfer of security equipment - confirms the interest of the United States to work together with the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan in the fight against illicit drug trafficking in the region.
He also expressed gratitude to the authorities of Tajikistan for their continued efforts in the fight against drug trafficking and its readiness to cooperate with the United States.
