US is disappointed with the intention of Kyrgyzstan to denounce the agreement on mutual assistance

Almaty. July 20. Silkroadnews - US officials are disappointed by the initiative of the government of Kyrgyzstan to denounce the agreement on bilateral co-operation from 1993, reported KyrTAG with reference to the US Embassy in the Kyrgyz Republic.
This states that the United States provided assistance to the Kyrgyz Republic for more than 20 years.
It is noted that the denunciation of the agreement could lead to question of the work of USAID in Kyrgyzstan.
Recall, the Kyrgyz government announced its intention to denounce the above mentioned agreement after US State Department awarded convicted at the homeland Azimzhan Askarov by prize for "Human Rights Defender".
