Uzbekistan and Mongolia to renew ties

Beijing. April 2. Silkroadnews - The Council of the Mongolian Friendship Societies Union signed a Memorandum of Cooperation with the Committee on Interethnic Relations and Friendly Ties with Foreign Countries under the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan, the Uzbek Telegraph Agency (UzTAG) reports.
The memorandum signing became a result of the talks held with participation of the Mongolian delegation headed by the Chairman of the Mongolian Friendship Societies Union, Hero of Mongolia, cosmonaut J.Gurragchaa.
Reportedly, during the meeting the committee’s chairman Rustam Kurbanov get the guests acquainted with the organization’s activities, including, among others, presentation of the tourism potential of Uzbekistan, with several international tourism fairs and festivals held annually. The parties agreed, the participation of Mongolian tourism companies in these event would be beneficial for both countries.
J.Gurragchaa marked the hospitality of the Uzbek side and noted both countries used to support friend relations with each other and carried out traditional days of culture.
The meeting was aimed to restore the traditional friendly ties between two states.
