Uzbekistan and Russia to sign more than 50 documents on cooperation
Almaty. April 5. Silkroadnews – President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev arrived on a state visit to Moscow on April 4, UzTAG reports.
As noted, the Uzbek and Russian presidents will discuss the issues of strengthening strategic partnership and allied relations, prospects for the development of mutually beneficial cooperation in the political, trade-economic, investment, transport-communication, scientific-technical, cultural, humanitarian and other fields, exchange the opinions on current regional and international issues.
The agenda of Sh. Mirziyoyev’s visit also includes signing a joint statement of the presidents of two states and more than 50 documents aimed at further development of cooperation between Uzbekistan and Russia in various fields.
The major events of the visit are scheduled for April 5.
Meanwhile, earlier, on April 3, the Uzbek embassy in Moscow hosted the ceremony of signing Uzbek-Russian documents. The parties’ plenipotentiary representatives signed 16 bilateral agreements, contracts and other documents in trade, economic and investment fields for a total of more than $3.5 billion.
