Uzbekistan and the United Arab Emirates implement joint projects worth nearly $120 million

Almaty. March 5. Silkroadnews - Abu Dhabi hosts the second meeting of the intergovernmental commission on trade and economic cooperation between Uzbekistan and the United Arab Emirates, reported the Uzbek Telegraph Agency (UzTAG).
"During the meeting, were reached agreements on the adoption of a joint program of investment cooperation between companies of the two countries, the organization of mutual visits of delegations of businessmen, as well as projects of financial and technical assistance totaling to more than $119.5 million", - said in a statement.
Uzbekistan's foreign trade companies also worked out and signed export contracts with companies from the United Arab Emirates to supply products totaling $73.9 million.
The UAE delegation was headed by Minister of Economy Sultan Al Mansouri, Uzbekistan was represented by the Minister of Foreign Economic Relations, Investments and Trade Elyer Ganiev.
