Uzbekistan closed for tourists Hissar reserve and holy place of Hazrat Sultan

Almaty. March 16. Silkroadnews - Hissar reserve and a number of natural sites in the south-west of Uzbekistan will be closed for tourists, reports KazTAG citing a government decree of the republic, released on Monday.
The government approved a list of objects and areas prohibited to tourists, indicated in the decision. In particular, the territory of Hissar reserve, cave of Tamerlane, dinosaur footprints in the gorge "Kalasan", waterfalls "Kalasan" and "Sutushar", Junco Lake, Glacier Severtsev, a holy place of Hazrat Sultan.
The document also revealed that for entry (passage), the temporary stay and movement of tourists to objects and terrain, in the territory of which needed a special regime of stay, permission must be received from the territorial divisions of Uzbek Interior Ministry.
The special areas classified heritage sites and protected areas in the border zone. Temporary stay on a particular territory is limited to five days. The application for permission for tour operators of tourists should be submitted in advance at least in 30 working days.
