Uzbekistan develops PPL

Almaty. November 20. Silkroadnews - Ministry of Finance of Uzbekistan and the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP)  work on draft law "On procurement of goods, works and services for state needs", reports Uzbek Telegraph Agency (UzTAG).
"Public procurement plays an important role in the economic development of Uzbekistan and is about 11% of GDP. The state, being the largest customers and consumers of goods and services, implementing measures to establish a transparent and competitive environment for the effective implementation of the public procurement process. Given that today in republic there is no separate legislation regulating the activities in this field, the development of the bill - it is an important step towards the improvement of the public procurement", - the press-service of the UNDP.
