Uzbekistan gets full membership in International Rugby Council

Tashkent. May 20. Silkroadnews – International Rugby Council approved Uzbekistan Federation of Rugby as its permanent member in Dublin.
“Uzbekistan has applied for full membership in this organisation in 2004. It is now its member. This has partially happened because infrastructure necessary for popularisation of this sport has been created”, National Rugby Federation reports.
There are currently 350 adult rugby players and 250 junior sportsmen in the Federation.
