Almaty. January 19. Silkroadnews - Uzbekistan completed the construction of high voltage power lines "Syrdarya TPP - Novo-Angren TPP" worth $87 million, reports Trend.

The project was financed by a loan from the Export-Import Bank of China in the amount of $33 million and equity from "Uzbekenergo". Supply of technological equipment and materials carried Chinese Xian Electric Engineering.
The installed capacity of Syrdarya TPP, the largest thermal power plant in Central Asia, is 3 thousand MW. The annual volume of power output to the integrated energy system of the republic - 13 billion kWh, or 32% of the total electricity generated in Uzbekistan.
