Uzbekistan has established a Ministry of Information and Communication Technologies

Almaty. February 6. Silkroadnews - Uzbek President Islam Karimov signed a decree on the establishment of the Ministry for the development of information technology and communications, reported the Uzbek Telegraph Agency (UzTAG).
"The new ministry will be organized on the basis of the State Committee of communication, information and communication technologies", - stated in the text.
According to the decree, the Ministry will implement a unified state policy in the field of information technology and communications, the introduction of "electronic government", the formation of the national segment of the Internet, the creation of the necessary technical and other conditions for the development of modern domestic web resources of various kinds.
