Uzbekistan has introduced fines for pollution of protected natural areas

Almaty. August 17. Silkroadnews - Uzbekistan has introduced fines for pollution of protected areas: for individuals - up to 355.2 thousand sums, officials - to 592 thousand sums, informed the Uzbek news agency (UzTAG).
According to the State Committee of Uzbekistan for Nature Protection, "in accordance with Article 82 "Violation of protected areas" of the Administrative Code of the Republic of Uzbekistan, violation of the State Reserve is punishable by a fine on citizens from one to five minimum wage".
In addition, violation of the complex (landscape) sanctuaries, national parks, state natural monuments, areas for conservation, reproduction and restoration of separate natural objects and complexes of protected landscapes, areas for management of separate natural resources, the state of biosphere reserves and interstate protected areas entails imposition of a fine on citizens from one third to one, and for officials - from one to three times of the minimum wages.
In turn, the State Committee asks citizens to report on cases of illegal dumping by telephone or feedback form site of state departments
