Uzbekistan is interested in the purchase of satellite images from the satellite of Kazakhstan

Almaty. September 23. SIlkroadnews - Uzbekistan is interested to buy satellite images from Kazakh satellite remote sensing (RS) KazEOSat-1 and KazEOSat-2, reported the press-service of JSC "National Company "Kazakhstan Gharysh Sapar".
As noted, the experts of Kazkosmos participated in a business forum "Kazakhstan-Uzbekistan: Trade Mission", which was organized in Tashkent with the support of JSC "Kaznex Invest".
"Within the framework of the event, the Kazakh experts held a series of meetings with representatives of the State Enterprise "Center of the Earth remote sensing and GIS technologies" at the State Committee of Geology, Astronomical Institute of the Academy of Sciences of Uzbekistan, Tashkent Institute of Irrigation and Land Reclamation, the National Centre of Geodesy and Cartography under the State Committee of Uzbekistan", - explained in the text.
In particular, the Kazakh national company experts presented to the participants of the business forum the possibility of Kazakh spacecraft "KazEOSat-1" and "KazEOSat-2" on the remote sensing in the territory of Uzbekistan.
According to the results of the negotiations public organizations in Uzbekistan have expressed great interest in the use of data of Kazakh spacecraft ERS in the territory of Uzbekistan.
The corresponding cooperation agreement, as well as a distribution agreement on ERS by the parties intends to be signed  at the forthcoming III International Seminar of "Days of space in Kazakhstan-2015", which will take place on November 27 in Astana.
