Uzbekistan is mourning 35th anniversary of "Pakhtakor"

Almaty. August 11. Silkroadnews - Uzbekistan today is mourning events dedicated to the 35th anniversary of the death of the football team "Pakhtakor", said Uzbek Telegraph Agency (UzTAG) with reference to the press service of the Moscow club.
The first part of the activities were held at the Tashkent stadium "Pakhtakor" where near the memorial of team players gathered relatives, close, veterans and leadership of Uzbekistan Football, fans. Former players Tulyagan Isakov, Eugene Valickiy, Gregory Zeitlin and Mirzahakim Tuhtamirzaev shared their memories of the great galaxy of players of the team.
Today, all day on all football stadiums of the country will be held activities and games to commemorate the team "Pakhtakor-79", according to the club's website.
Recall that on August 11, 1979 in the sky over Dneprodzerzhinsk faced two iarcrafts Tu-134A. 178 people died (165 passengers and 13 crew members), including 17 members of the football team "Pakhtakor", playing in the highest league of the USSR.
