Uzbekistan is preparing to join the WTO

Almaty. July 22. Silkroadnews - Uzbekistan jointly with the Commission of the European Union is considering a project that will promote the accession to the World Trade Organization (WTO), according to the Uzbek Telegraph Agency (UzTAG).
"In particular, the project will implement a series of measures aimed at improving professional skills and meeting members of the negotiating team of the Republic of Uzbekistan on the accession to the WTO", - said a source of the Ministry of Economy of the country.
He explained that the goal will be achieved by studying the experience to mitigate the negative consequences of membership in the organization of the countries that have joined the organization and have similar economic conditions as Uzbekistan, as well as for support of key WTO member countries.
