Uzbekistan plans to attract more than $30 million to develop horticulture

Almaty. March 25. Silkroadnews - Uzbekistan until the end of the year plans to raise a loan fom the Islamic Development Bank for projects in the field of horticulture, reported the Uzbek Telegraph Agency (UzTAG).
"The Uzbek side is implementing a special program to attract grants and loans from international financial institutions in the field of agriculture. We are currently negotiating with representatives of the Islamic Development Bank. we plan to attract more than $30 million", - says the publication, citing a source in the MAWR.
These funds will be used for projects to improve the productivity of horticultural crops and a system of storage and processing of fruits and vegetables
