Uzbekistan plans to hold festival of Uzbekistan films in Turkmenistan, Russia and China

Almaty. March 31. Silkroadnews - This year, the National Agency “Uzbekkino” plans to organize “Days of Uzbek cinema” in Turkmenistan, Russia and China, the Uzbek Telegraph Agency (UzTAG) reports.

“At present we make the arrangements necessary to organize these activities, choose specific films. The program is planned to include a variety of movies from historical dramas to comedies,” the agency said.

In addition, “Uzbekkino” sent 20 feature films, documentaries and animated films to the organizing committees of the international festivals, which will be held in China, Germany, USA, Russia, Australia and other countries.

From April 28 to May 5, 2016, Tashkent and Samarkand are planned to hold the Uzbek-German film festival “Shum bola”, and later, on May 23-30, together with the European Union’s representative office “Days of European Cinema” shall be carried out in Tashkent, Andijan and Ferghana.
