Uzbekistan started construction of the first rubber-plant

Almaty. September 1. Silkroadnews - On the eve in the Special Industrial Zone (SIZ) "Angren" started the construction of the first rubber-plant in Uzbekistan, reported the Uzbek news agency.
"Construction of the plant with total cost of $183.9 million is carried out by a Chinese company Poly Technologies Inc. It will be able to produce 100 thousand meters of conveyor belts, 200 thousand agricultural and 3 million tires a year", - said the press service of the SIZ "Angren".
The project is financed by a loan from the Fund for Reconstruction and Development of Uzbekistan for $27.60 million. It is also envisaged to allocate preferential long-term foreign loans in the amount of $156,36 million
The Chinese company plans to complete all construction work under the project up to January 1, 2016.
