Uzbekistan to build two coal mines worth more than $340

Almaty. March 15. Silkroadnews – In the next few years “Uzbekugol” company will start implementation of two projects for new mines construction, Uzbek Telegraph Agency (UzTAG) reports.
“The project for the construction of the Nishbash mine is estimated at $175.2 million. At present the domestic specialists work over design and prepare a feasibility study to start project implementation next year”, the report said.
Construction of the second facility – the Angren mine – is planned to begin this year. The project total cost exceeds $165 million.
After reaching the designed capacity each of these mines is expected to produce about 4 million tonnes of coal per year.
