Uzbekistan to raise natural gas reserves by 57 billion cubic meters

Beijing. January 26. Silkroadnews - This year Uzbekistan plans to raise its natural gas reserves by 57 billion cubic meters according to the task set by the President of Uzbekistan, the Uzbek Telegraph Agency (UzTAG) reports.
Through the discovery of new deposits, as stipulated by the State program on mineral resources development, this year the natural gas reserves volume should be increased by 57 billion cubic meters, and oil and condensate reserves - by 3.6 million tons. This year, to ensure the production of 63 billion cubic meters of natural gas and 3 million tons of oil and condensate, the construction of 255 new wells and 26 new technological facilities should be completed along with repair of 76 operating wells, the presidential press service said.
Reportedly, Uzbekneftegaz also plans to implement 24 investment projects to the amount of $2.756 billion.
