Uzbekistan took 7th place in the world for gold mining

Almaty. February 12. Silkroadnews - Uzbekistan took 7th place in the world for gold mining, reports UzTAG.
According to preliminary estimates of the US Geological Survey, Uzbekistan in 2014 produced 102 tons of gold, which is 4 tons more than in 2013.
The five leaders are China, Australia, Russia, the United States and Peru.
Gold producers in Uzbekistan are Navoi and Almalyk Mining and Metallurgical Combines.
In 2013, Uzbekistan with the figure of 98 tonnes in the list took 8th place, dividing it with Mexico.
