Uzbekistan will modernize Takhiatash TPP worth $695 million by 2020

Almaty. March 24. Silkroadnews - By 2020, Uzbekistan will modernizes Takhiatash TPP in Karakalpakstan (autonomy in the north-western Uzbekistan) worth $ 695 million, reported the Uzbek news agency.
"Financing of the project worth $695.3 million will be funded by Asian Development Bank as loan of $300 million provided to Uzbekistan in September 2014, the left amount will be financed by Fund for Reconstruction and Development of Uzbekistan and "Uzbekenergo" - says the publication.
The period of modernization will be 2015-2020 years.
