Uzbekistan will supply textile products for $150 million to Russia

Almaty. March 18. Silkroadnews - The Uzbek enterprises delegation took part in the trade fair “Textillegprom” in Moscow, according to the results of which the contracts on supply of products to Russia totaling more than $150 million have been concluded, the Uzbek Telegraph Agency (UzTAG) informs.
The delegation was represented by the unified national stand demonstrating more than 30 enterprises and 35 product names. The program also included the presentation of the production, export and investment potential of Uzbekistan’s consumer goods industry.
In the framework of the exhibition the Uzbek delegation held negotiations with more than 20 foreign partners and signed 10 framework agreements and contracts for export on the domestic enterprises’ products till the end of the first half of 2016 totaling $150 million.
In addition, the negotiations have been held with the top managers of “Roslegprom” JSC, “Yarmarka” and Teclot company (electronic trading platform) on promotion of the Uzbek companies’ products in the Russian market.
