Many employers in China require the verification of documents on education, which is conducted by the Ministry of Education, to guard against the counterfeit diplomas, the report reads.
The statement of the ministry says the verification of academic degrees and diplomas will be transferred into digital format and could be carried out online.
The statement notes, the ministry will also simplify the verification process and improve the quality of services.
