Wages in Kyrgyzstan are 3-4 times lower than in Russia and Kazakhstan
Almaty. October 24. Silkroadnews - Remuneration in Kyrgyzstan is on average $200 a month, which is 3 times lower than in Kazakhstan and 4.5 times lower than in Russia, informed KyrTAG citing a report by the Deputy Minister of Economy of the Kyrgyz Republic Adylbek Kasymaliev on Friday.
The representative of Kyrgyzstan, speaking at the 16th Congress of the China Mining 2014 in Tianjin (China), said that "one of the country's investment advantages is the relatively low cost of electricity and labor".
"Payment of the monthly labor in Kyrgyzstan is on average $200, which is $400 less than in Kazakhstan and $700 less than in Russia. The cost of electricity in the Kyrgyz Republic is one of the cheapest in the post-Soviet space. For example, in Germany, 20 cents per 1 kW/h, Bulgaria - 11, in Russia - 3.5 and Kyrgyzstan - 1.5 cents for 1 kilowatt per hour ", - the report says.
One of the features of the investment attractiveness of the country is the fact that the law "On the introduction of a visa-free regime for citizens of some countries up to 60 days", included 44 countries. In addition KR has a very liberal investment law which provides foreign investors national treatment in respect of legal and physical entities of the Kyrgyz Republic.
