WB predicts decline in economic growth of Tajikistan to 4.2%
Almaty. November 19. Silkroadnews - Economic growth in Tajikistan in 2015 will drop to 4.2%. This is stated in the report of the World Bank (WB) on the basis of the presentation of its new report on the economic development of Tajikistan in Dushanbe, reports Trend.
The report's authors believe that the slowdown in economic growth in Tajikistan was the result of a decline in remittances from Russia, weakening of world demand and low prices for major exports such as aluminum and cotton.
Revenues of Tajikistan is expected to decline by 10% in 2015.
