William J. Burns to visit two of Central Asian biggest cities within 3 days

Tashkent. May 6. Silkroadnews – US Deputy Secretary of State William J. Burns is to visit Tashkent on May 6-7 and Astana on May 8, as the US State Department informs.
The US diplomat is to discuss regional politics, Afghanistan situation as well as economic and humanitarian issues in Uzbekistan.
In Kazakhstan, Mister Burns is to discuss both Afghanistan and Ukraine situations, Kazakhstan’s WTO membership as well joint efforts to strengthen regional and economic integration.
According to some Mass Media, Mister Burns plans to resign this Fall.
