Almaty. August 11. Silkroadnews - Food prices in Kyrgyzstan will gradually rise, and in five years will be equal to the prices in Russia and in the countries of the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEC). This was stated by the head of the food safety policy and Ministry of Agriculture and Land Reclamation Jumabek Asylbekov, transmits KyrTAG.
However, the expert reassured that we should not expect a sharp rise in prices in the domestic market immediately after Kyrgyzstan's entry into the union.
The Ministry of Agriculture believe that during these 5 years will also rise the purchasing power of Kyrgyzstan.
