Xi Jinping carried out a number of meetings on the sidelines of the G20 summit

Almaty. September 5. Silkroadnews – Xi Jinping held a series of meetings on the sidelines of the G20 summit, «Xinhua» agency reports.

During a meeting with Thai Prime Minister Prayut Chan-O-Cha Xi Jinping noted China attaches highest importance to develop relations with Thailand. China and Thailand should strengthen strategic communication, enhance coordination of countries' development strategies, boost mutually beneficial cooperation in all the fields, expand exchanges between people, strengthen coordination and cooperation within the multilateral framework, Chinese leader believes.

In his turn Prayut Chan-O-Cha said that Thailand makes efforts to deepen the traditional friendship between the two countries' people, expand bilateral cooperation in economy, trade, tourism, infrastructure and other areas.

While meeting with Russian President Vladimir Putin President Xi Jinping called for active integrating of two countries' development strategies and the Silk Road Economic Belt with the Eurasian Economic Union, boosting practical cooperation in the fields of infrastructure, energy, aviation, space and high technologies, military exchanges and security cooperation, as well as close coordination and cooperation in international and regional affairs, defending the objectives and principles of the UN charter and the international law basics.

China and the Republic of Korea should direct bilateral relationship toward the sustainable development. The sides should value the current framework of cooperation and overcome the difficulties and challenges if arising, Xi Jinping said during the meeting with Korean President Park Geun-hye.
