Xi Jinping held a series of meetings on the sidelines of the G20 summit in Hangzhou

Almaty. September 2. Silkroadnews – On Friday in the city of Hangzhou Chinese President Xi Jinping met with Presidents of Indonesia Joko Widodo and Senegal Macky Sall who came to participate in the G20 summit, Chinese media reported.

At the meeting with the head of Indonesia Xi Jinping said the sides have broad common interests and noted positive dynamics in development of bilateral relations. China and Indonesia should continuously enhance political mutual trust, expand practical cooperation, facilitate the comprehensive strategic partnership between the two countries, he noted.

China's leader also added, the two sides should further strengthen high-level contacts, make active efforts to integrate the initiative «Marine Silk Road of the 21st century» with the concept of «Global Marine Support», ensure the successful implementation of the high-speed line project Jakarta-Bandung, expand the bilateral cooperation in infrastructure construction, production capacity, trade, investments, finance and e-commerce. The two countries should strengthen exchanges between them in the fields of education, science and technology, health, radio and television, as well as exchanges between Chinese and Indonesian youth.

In turn, J. Widodo said the comprehensive strategic partnership between the two countries to contribute to peace and security in the world.

When meeting with the President of Senegal, Macky Sall Xi Jinping said about the rapidly developing bilateral cooperation in various fields.

«We are ready to send experts to assist the economic development of Senegal, strengthen cooperation in peacekeeping activities and other security issues, strengthen the foundation of the world, maintain close communication and coordination in international affairs and jointly promote the development of international political and economic order towards greater equity and rationality», China's leader noted.
